I loved this movie. It had romance, drama, war, etc... It is definitely a sappy love story, but it had some interesting camera angles in it. Throughout the movie they did a lot of pan and zooming and I just noticed how fluent it was. It didn't have any hitches. It was perfect. They also had a fair amount of close up shots, mostly on the more emotional scenes, but it captured the essence of the moment. Overall, this was a great movie, with a interesting story.
Haven't seen this one, but even sappy love stories (your words, not mine) can have useful things in them for us to look at. Good to see that you still looking at how the movie is put together, whether or not it's an art house film. Story is certainly important to any movie, whether it is well assembled or not. If it does not captivate us, what's the point of watching?
